The Steyr Zephyr II rimfire is a rebirth of the original and much admired Zephyr, which the company offered in the 1950s and '60s. It features a five-round detachable box magazine, cold-hammer-forged barrel and a classic European walnut stock with a Bavarian cheek piece and fish-scale pattern checkering. Weighing less than 6 pounds, the rifle is light enough for carrying on long still-hunts through the hardwoods, but has enough weight in the right places to help you hold it steady for a tight shot at 35 yards. We believe there is still a great need today for classy rimfires that will handily collect squirrels and other small game—and be cherished for generations.
