Originally designed to serve American troops during what was then known as the Great War and classified as the M1918, the BAR has earned its place in military history. What we're here to talk about, though, is hunting with it—which became a reality in 1967, with the advent of the BAR Sporting Model. As the decades have gone by, Browning has occasionally tinkered with the BAR. The basics are relatively unchanged but, for 2017, the company has rolled out a few new variants to the classic design. You can learn more about all of them with the video embedded above.
