If you're familiar with Browning, you're familiar with the company's venerable Citori line of shotguns—it's been around forever. That said, back in 2012, Browning revamped the family a bit with the addition of the Citori 725. The 725 is an evolution of John Browning’s legendary B25 Superposed, and benefits greatly from the modern performance advantage of a low-profile receiver. The 725’s receiver is lower than other Citori 12-gauge receivers—and that’s not just a manufacturing trick. Browning really did shave a few fractions off the receiver’s height, which is especially noticeable if you place it next to a Citori 625, the shotgun that it has largely replaced.
