undefinedI just returned from the NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits in Indianapolis, Apr. 25-27, and other than the ATA show--which is all about archery--I doubt I ever met so many fellow bowhunters under one roof! With the NRA being the largest organization nationwide supporting not only our gun rights but our hunting rights across the board, it’s no wonder. From rocker, NRA Board member and Second Amendment activist Ted Nugent to my husband, TV host and hunting guide Phil Phillips of “Phil Phillips Unleashed,” from four-time Super Bowl champion and NFL Hall of Fame kicker Adam Vinatieri of the Indianapolis Colts to my friend Joel Harris, marketing manager at Zeiss, and countless other avid bowhunters I met on the show floor and at special events, it was quite the gathering of NRA-member archers! What hunter doesn't enjoy celebrating American freedom and our hunting heritage?

Speaking of Zeiss, I could have used a pair of Zeiss binoculars around my neck to help me keep tabs on some of the people I was trying to catch up with before they got out of sight. Not only is the Indiana Convention Center huge, but it’s not easy getting through the aisles at an NRA show when you’ve got 75,267 fellow hunters and shooters in the mix! That's the official count released by the NRA this morning, making for yet another great NRA annual meeting of members!
