Can-Am has announced the arrival of its 2018 Mossy Oak Hunting Edition 1000R, which features a design and enhancements that were crafted exclusively with hunters in mind.

The Outlander Mossy Oak Hunting Edition features a double A-arm front suspension with 9-inch travel. The suspension preload has an increased ground clearance by 1 inch and stiffer springs for better off-road capabilities. 26-inch Carlisle ACT HD Radial tires are there to provide heavy-duty durability.

The machine comes standard with a 6.0 Impact gun boot by Kolpin that attaches to an integrated mounting holder. The gun boot includes removable, shock absorbing foam and nylon Impact liner for interior protection. A lightweight, aluminum skid plate and new aluminum front A-arm guards help keep the underside of the ATV protected. A reinforced seat has also been added.

The entire rig is outfitted in Mossy Oak's Break-Up Country camouflage, and is more resistant to scratching, mineral deposits and sun fading.

Know How: Understanding and Obtaining a Cold-Bore Zero

Have you ever spent hours at the range zeroing a rifle only to learn it is nowhere near center when you go to confirm it at camp?
