This week on #SundayGunday, we’re checking out the Fightlight Industries Herring Model 2024 Lever Action. A modern take on the classic western design, the Herring Model 2024 is almost like a combination of lever action and AR-platform rife, and there’s a reason for that. Designed to leverage the huge aftermarket in AR parts, the Herring utilizes off-the-shelf AR bolts, barrels and barrel extensions, and of course, magazines. Earlier this year, Savage Arms expanded its iconic Model 110 lineup to introduce six new cartridges.

Best known for their large-bore lever actions, Big Horn Armory of Cody, Wyo., adds to their .50 caliber arsenal with the new Model 89 Take Down (TD) Carbine. Chambered in the mighty .500 Smith & Wesson Magnum, the Model 89 TD, as the name implies, comes apart for easy storage and transport.

Savage Arms has added three new rifles to its Model 110 lineup: the 110 Core Predator, 110 Core Tactical and 110 Ultralite Predator. In addition to the all-new AccuFit V2, these rifles feature a beavertail fore-end that incorporates an ARCA rail with M-Lok slots. The Predator and Tactical rifles also have higher capacity magazines, holding up to ten rounds.
