HEVI Shot HEVI Metal Xtreme Lead

HEVI-Shot has taken their excellent line of waterfowl shotshells to the next step in their HEVI-Metal Xtreme series. Building on the reputation of the HEVI-Metal line, the Xtreme series uses a blend of 30 percent tungsten shot and 70 percent precision steel shot for a combination which will not please our feathered friends.

The non-toxic shot material is legal in all waterfowl situations, and HEVI-Shot has incorporated a hotter 209 primer and a clean-burning propellant to ensure ignition in that weather which ducks love but powder doesn’t. The FliteControl Flex wad keeps the pattern good and dense, and plays well with just about any choke rated for steel shot, whether or not it is ported.

Weighing in at 12g/cc, the tungsten shot will hit over 50 percent harder than will the steel shot, and as it is loaded at the front of the shot column, you'll be dropping birds from the sky with authority. HEVI-Shot offers the HEVI-Metal Xtreme in 12-gauge, 3” magnum at 1¼ ounces shot weight, blending No. 4 tungsten and No. 1 steel at 1450 fps or No. 6 tungsten and No. 3 steel at 1450 fps; or in 20-gauge, 3-inch magnum at 1¹⁄₁₆ ounces shot weight, mixing No. 4 tungsten and No. 1 steel at 1350 fps or No. 6 tungsten and No. 3 steel at 1350 fps. All loads are sold in 25-count boxes. HEVI-Shot ammunition is proudly manufactured in the USA, in Sweet Home, Ore.
