For 2020, Escort is introducing its new Slugger series of pump-action shotguns. Available in two styles, the base Slugger is a scattergun with a synthetic stock, an ergonomic grip and textured grip panels for use in multiple environments. The Slugger Tact, meanwhile, is streamlined more toward control and versatility with the addition of a pistol grip.  Available in 3-inch magnum 12-gauge, with a soft-rubber buttpad to absorb that magnum recoil, either Slugger model comes in an all-weather, black finish.

The sighting system on the Slugger series consists of a fixed blade. Large and easy to find in low light, the blade still retains more durability than a fiber optic. Mounted sling studs provide attachment points for a variety of slings and tethers, and the extended pump handle doesn't require any additional reach. A fixed cylinder, 18-inch barrel and 5+1 capacity round out this base-Model Slugger.

The Slugger Tact, on the other hand, takes all of the above and adds an improved cheek weld, and an extra sling mounting point. Its pistol grip is also soft rubber, with contoured finger grooves. Within its stock is space to hold five additional shells, while the forend sports a Picatinny rail, for the mounting of accessories.
