Escort has added a turkey-specific scattergun to its PS line of semi-automatics. The PS Turkey Hunter is available in 12-ga., 20-ga. and .410-bore, and is made with the turkey-hunter in mind. The gun features Hatsan's FAST Loading System, which allows for easier one-handed loading by causing the loading button to function as both the carrier-latch release for loading and the bolt release when the bolt is locked back. Hatsan's Smart Valve Piston, meanwhile, will cycle 7/8 oz., 2 ¾" all the way up to 3" full magnum loads, credited to its self-regulating design. The company even boasts that one can mix both heavy and light loads in the same four-shell-capacity magazine, without issue.

The PS Turkey Hunter is available in two camouflage patters—RealTree APG and Mossy Oak BottomLand— and ships with three interchangeable chokes. For sighting, a five-inch long cantilevered optics rail features four cross-slots to accommodate a variety of Weaver mounts, while the gun is also equipped with fiber-optic front and rear sights for low-light hunting. The red front fiber is windage adjustable, while the green-fiber rear sight is both windage and elevation adjustable, and both fibers can be removed entirely to make way for mounted optics. Finally, all of Hatsan's barrels are hard-chrome lined for durability and corrosion resistance. For more information, please visit hatsanusa.comMSRP: $499.99
