The Dagger Spur Glass, from FoxPro, is a competitively priced tip-over pot call made right here in the US. Utilizing a glass-over-slate design inside its black-plastic pot, the Dagger Spur Glass call provides quality materials where it counts, for a great-sounding call that doesn’t break the bank. Its striker is formed from two-piece purple-heart wood—great for yelps, cuts, purrs and more. While the surfaces are preconditioned, a scratch pad is included for further audial personalization. Right out of the box, the slate side sounds great with a large, easy sweet spot. The glass, however, seems a little smooth, and necessitates some texturing before it is woods-ready. As is typical of such calls, the slate provides a slightly deeper tone, while the glass is higher and brighter, and requires a far more upright striker position. For more information on this call, or any of the others FoxPro has to offer, please visit gofoxpro.com. MSRP: $24.95
