In case you hadn't heard, the Winchester brand as a whole is celebrating 150 years of history at SHOT Show—and throughout the entirety of 2016, for that matter. And if you're going to celebrate your history, it makes sense to show some of it off. Winchester Repeating Arms will be doing just that at this year's show, by rolling out a collection of historical firearms and other memorabilia that should stop attendees in their tracks.

In conjunction with the Cody Firearms Museum, Winchester will display the first ever Winchester branded rifle, a Model 1866, Buffalo Bill’s Model 1873 Smoothbore that he used in his Wild West Show, President Eisenhower’s custom Model 1894, President Kennedy’s custom Model 70, and former Winchester Canada President R.F. Bucher’s custom Model 101. And in case you aren't already getting enough Buffalo Bill, they've got his cowboy hat and gauntlets, too.

“A few years ago Winchester Repeating Arms had Jack O’Connor’s famous Model 70 on display in our booth and it drew a lot of attention.” said Glenn Hatt, Winchester Repeating Arms Product Manager. “I’m sure this line up of historic guns and memorabilia will also draw a crowd of gun enthusiasts. I invite everyone who will be attending the 2016 SHOT Show to come by the Winchester booths.”

The folks at Winchester Ammunition will be covered up in history, too—over there you'll find firearms from the collections of the likes of John Olin, Ernest Hemingway and Zane Grey. That's also where you'll find the now infamous "Forgotten Winchester," which was found in the Great Basin National Park a couple years back.

We'll have more coverage of the brand's anniversary here on AmericanHunter.org, so be sure to keep checking back for further updates.
