It’s about 95 degrees here in Virginia today so the last thing I want to think about is strapping on a pack and hoofing it with all my gear. Come bowseason, of course, it will be another story! If you’re in the market for a new pack, you might want to check out the new-for-2014 Quickdraw pack from ALPS OutdoorZ, which, as the name implies, might just be the thing for bowhunters.

The Quickdraw’s single-sling design offers "swing-around" access to the main compartments. You actually can access the quiver holder, gear pocket and main compartment without having to remove the pack and its drop-down pocket and lashing strap are just what you need to attach your bow. It offers 1,225 cubic inches of storage capacity and comes with a 2-liter hydration bladder. It sports side-webbing lashing straps, an internal organizational pocket and a D-ring clip so you can hang it from your stand. The MSRP is $79.99. Check it out at www.alpsoutdoorz.com.
