Savage Arms is celebrating Father’s Day by offering a $75 mail-in rebate on the purchase of any Axis/Axis II or Axis 2 rifle. This limited-time promotion is valid for purchases made between May 15, 2026, and June 30, 2026. Customers must submit their rebate requests by July 30, 2026, to qualify.

“We are excited to provide this special rebate as a way to honor fathers and outdoor enthusiasts,” said Beth Shimanski, vice president of Marketing at Savage Arms. “The Axis series offers exceptional performance and value, making it the perfect gift for dads or anyone who appreciates quality firearms.”

The Axis series has long been noted for its accuracy, reliability and affordability, making it a top choice for hunters and shooting enthusiasts alike. The latest Axis 2 models feature a redesigned ergonomic stock with enhanced texturing, user-adjustable AccuTrigger and an updated bolt handle designed for improved functionality and comfort in various conditions. Available in a range of calibers and stock colors, including OD Green, Gray and FDE, the Axis 2 caters to a wide array of preferences and shooting needs.

The Savage Axis 2 was introduced in 2024. J. Scott Olmstead, American Hunter editor in chief, visited the company’s Westfield, Mass., factory shortly before they hit retail shelves. He and other attendees witnessed them being manufactured and had the opportunity to build one during the media tour.

“I can tell you this is a thoughtful evolution of the original Axis lineup,” he wrote about the trip. “The incorporation of trending features with a now 10-year-old platform that already produced exceptional out-of-the-box accuracy is a winning combination for hunting season 2024. All the guns the media built in Westfield shot 1-inch groups.”

For more details on the promotion and submission instructions, visit the Savage Arms promotions page. The Father’s Day rebate is valid for purchases made in the United States and Canada, with rebates issued in U.S. funds only. The rebate includes a refund of the Federal Firearms Excise Tax, providing additional savings to customers.
