CMC Triggers Corp has released its Remington 700 Adjustable Ultra Precision Trigger Group, available in both Flat and Curved trigger bow configurations. Engineered with the goal of combining the performance characteristics and ergonomics of CMC's AR trigger systems with the precision demands of bolt-action shooters, the Remington 700 Adjustable Ultra Precision Trigger promises a clean, consistent break with zero creep and zero overtravel.

A key feature of the new trigger group is CMC's patent-pending O.C.D. (Optimized Component Design) Locking System, which securely locks all active trigger components to provide an enhanced margin of safety under all conditions. Additionally, the trigger features an externally accessible pull-weight adjustment, allowing users to fine-tune performance without removing the action from the stock—a significant advantage for both field and range applications.

"The Remington 700 platform has long been a benchmark for precision rifles, and we wanted to deliver a trigger that matches that legacy," said Ken Ross, CMC Triggers CMO. "This system gives shooters the adjustability, feel, and reliability they expect from CMC, now purpose-built for bolt-action performance."

The trigger is factory preset to 2.5 pounds and offers an adjustment range from 8 ounces to 3.5 pounds, allowing shooters to tailor the pull weight to their specific shooting style and conditions without disassembly.

Constructed from 7075-T6 aluminum and S7 tool steel, the trigger group is built for durability and long-term reliability. A self-contained, drop-in design ensures no loose components or special tools required.
