Ledetraditions Ram T Rod

Traditions Performance Firearms has introduced its Ram-T Rod. This ramrod makes loading in the field or at the range a breeze thanks to an improved, easy to use system.

The Ram-T Rod is telescopic and provides an additional 3.5-inches of length for loading or cleaning over standard ramrods. Simply unlock with a quarter turn, extend and then lock into place. A t-handle conveniently flips out for a more comfortable experience. When  the shooter is ready to put the rod back into the storage position, it easily retracts back into it’s body and stores in the thimbles. This improved design allows for a lighter rod and the ability for a quicker follow up shot in the field. The Ram-T Rod is patent-pending and made of anodized aluminum, keeping the rod both strong and lightweight. It comes with a brass loading tip and can be used for 45- or 50-caliber muzzleloaders. The Ram-T Rod can be similarly used on all Traditions break-action platforms.

Senior product development manager Karl Ricker said “The Ram-T Rod is a great upgrade for all muzzleloader users. This rod removes the need to flip around a jag and combines everything into one, easy to use platform. The loading tip is threaded to accept accessories but is recessed so it won’t make contact with the tip of the bullet. We are excited to add the Ram-T Rod into our product lineup and continue to make time in the field easier and more enjoyable.”

The Ram-T rod is the perfect addition to any hunter's kit for muzzleloader season. Its telescopic design make it not just a breeze to carry into the field, but quick to get into action once there. Its additional length, meanwhile, gives hunters some extra purchase for easy use.
