Thaw Heated Stadium Seat (1)

Looking for a way to stay warm in your treestand or blind through the late season? Check out the Thaw Heated Stadium Seat. Designed to keep folks warm in the fall as they watch spectator sports, it also makes a great tool for hunters—something I have a feeling they may have figured when the folks at Thaw decided on its coloring.

The rechargeable Heated Stadium Seat features three heating modes, ranging from a high setting lasting seven hours to a low setting that lasts 16—plenty long for even an all-day sit. It’s USB rechargeable, is made from tough nylon that can withstand wear and tear, and has heat-retaining insulation so the warmth doesn’t fade away. That insulation is two inches of high-density foam, so you can be sure the cold wont penetrate, and its frame is steel for years of hard use.

A storage compartment is included with the seat. It boasts a sleeve for a coffee mug, and pouch that will fit bleat cans, grunt tubes, snacks, or any other necessities for a day in the field. For easy portability, a shoulder strap and padded handle are provided. It folds down to a manageable size, so it can be taken almost anywhere it’s needed. To power the unit, a 10,000mAh Power Bank and a USB-A to USB-C charging cable are included.

While its certainly not the thing you're about to take packing deep into the backcountry, the whole package is certainly light enough to tote on a predawn walk to the blind or stand. At right around 7.5 pounds for everything put together, its far weight less than the average climbing stand, and can be strapped to a pack with the shoulder strap removed so it doesn't drag and snag.
