ALPS Brands has expanded the company’s Sierra apparel line by introducing the Sierra Vest. The Sierra Vest is engineered to maintain a comfortable core body temperature in cool weather, while allowing for a free, unrestricted range of arm movement.

Billed as a crossover garment, the Sierra Vest combines the ruggedness and performance of a dedicated outdoor vest with a stylish design suitable for everyday wear around town or in public venues. The vest’s two-layer construction consists of a durable and stretchable 95-percent polyester and 5-percent spandex blend outer layer that is DWR-treated for weather resistance.

Inside is a microfleece fabric layer that provides a soft feel and insulating performance to keep the wearer warm. It is also wind-resistant and breathable, thus helping maintain a consistent and comfortable body temperature in changing climates. Four YKK zippered pockets—two chest pockets and two hand pockets—are built into the Sierra Vest. All are generously proportioned to keep hands warm and necessary items at the ready.

The Sierra Vest secures with a full-length front zipper and is topped with a standing collar to keep heat around the neck during blustery days. The drop-back hem and bungee-and-barrel lock adjustable closure system at the bottom of the vest allow for custom-regulated ventilation.

Available in small through XXXL sizes and offered in three solid color options—coyote brown, olive green, and slate blue— more information on the Sierra Vest can be found at alpsoutdoorz.com or alpsmountaineering.comMSRP: $59.99
