Christensen Arms has announced the Mesa Hunting Rifle with Flashed Forged Technology (FFT), available in W.L. Gore Optifade Camo. Optifade camo options include an Optifade Subalpine Camo Stock with a Black Nitride Barrel & Action, or an Optifade Elevated II Camo Stock with Tungsten Barrel and Action.

“The new Mesa FFT with sporter-style stock makes it ideal on those long hikes up the mountain,” said Stephen Graham, senior vice president of marketing at Christensen Arms. “Backcountry and most hunters alike look to shave not only pounds but ounces. The New Mesa FFT is the perfect solution while maintaining the structural integrity and performance you have come to expect from Christensen firearms. Adding these superior Optifade camo patterns to our state-of-the-art hunting rifles definitely gives the hunter an extreme advantage in accuracy and concealment.”

The Mesa FFT weighs in at just 5.5 pounds, makes it an ideal rifle on the mountainside, or for long treks to your hunting location. It utilizes a Featherlight-contour 416R stainless steel-barrel with a Cerakote finish, and a stainless steel “seamless” removable radial muzzle brake on the 1/2X28 TPI threaded muzzle. Finally, the receiver is precision-machined, and the stock is carbon fiber. The gun is also available in a left-handed configuration, and backed by the Christensen Arms sub-MOA guarantee.

Chamberings available for the Mesa FFT include 6.5 Creedmoor; 6.5 Precision Rifle Caliber; 28 Nosler;.308 Winchester; .300 Winchester Magnum; and .300 PRC. For more information, check out christensenarms.com. Starting MSRP: $1,699.99
