Convergent Hunting Solutions has debuted an electronic game call that mounts securely to the forend of a rifle. This Sidewinder Mounted Game Call was designed in conjunction with professional hunter Byron South, and tested from east Texas' pine forests, to the flat Nevada desert.

Incorporating the company's phone mount on the back, this game call can be controlled entirely through the app, making it almost fully hands-free. It connects to the phone via a USB-C cable which plugs into the audio jack (or audio-jack adapter on newer phones). Volume goes clearly up to 100 dB, while the unit is powered by a 3.7-volt lithium ion battery, with an over-five-hour runtime. Despite being rated for use on rifles up to 6.8 SPC, the unit only weighs in at 9.6 ounces with battery. Dimensions are 3-inches X 3-inches X 4-inches.
