Some hunters need quick handling, lower-magnification slopes for the dense deer woods. Others need an optic that can reach all the way across the Western plains in search of its prey. The new Vortex Razor HD LHT 4.5X-22-X50mm is in the latter category. A first-focal-plane (FFP) riflescope, this far-reaching optic has been designed to meet the needs of the Western hunter, while still retaining a weight that is among the lightest in its class.

XLR-2 Reticle
Considering it a "big brother" to the company's Razor HD LHT, this scope retains the older model's light-yet-durable design, adding FFP functionality and a higher magnification. The reticle has also been altered to the XLR-2, to work better with the new focal plane. For low light, the scope features push-button illumination.

As a further benefit to long-range hunters, the Razor HD LHT 4.5X-22-X50mm offers a locking elevation turret, and a RevStop Zero System for a reliable return to zero after dialing.

Hardware Review: Benelli Super Black Eagle 3 A.I. BE.S.T

The Benelli Super Black Eagle 3 A.I. BE.S.T. is, put simply, on the fast track to being considered a waterfowling marvel. Standing for Advanced Impact technology, the SBE 3 A.I. shoots its shot with  improved downrange results thanks to a very, very proprietary barrel technology that actually assists in energy retention for greater downrange velocity. Sounds crazy, right? That’s what I thought too; then I took the gun to Montana’s Bighorn River and had my mind blown.
