A limited run of apparel items, to be expanded and completed through Fall 2021, heralds the release of Kryptek's new Obskura pattern. The first items available in the pattern include two pieces from Kryptek's Valhalla collection, a long-sleeve half-zip and pant. Designed to perform in warm weather, these pieces are constructed from lightweight and breathable fabrics featuring Kryptek Cooling technology for moisture management. A variety of accessories are also available in Obskura, including the Krypton gloves, Kiska beanie, Wyot Balaclava and Centurion Rifle Case.

The Obskura family of patterns includes three color ways: Transitional, Nox and Grom. The new apparel items are currently available in Obskura Transitional. Transitional blends in with numerous environments within the transitional classification of terrain that makes up 70% of the Earth’s surface. Tested through military studies and analysis, Transitional uses medium-value colors based off the prominent Pantones found in those environments. These colors have a greater tendency to make use of ambient light reflected off surrounding objects for maximum blending effect.

Additional Obskura apparel items including rain gear and Kryptek’s new Sonora collection are set to arrive later this month.
