At the 2020 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, Leupold introduced several new models in its VX-Freedom riflescope line, featuring five illuminated scopes well-suited to hunters looking to up their game in low-light shooting situations.

This latest section of the VX-Freedom riflescope lineup includes: the 1.5-4X 30 mm with an illuminated FireDot MOA-ring reticle; the 3-9X 40 mm with an illuminated FireDot Tri-MOA reticle; the 3-9X 50 mm with a FireDot Twilight Hunter reticle; the 4-12X 50 mm CDS with an illuminated FireDot Duplex reticle; and the 1.5-4X 20 mm AR with a 223 illuminated FireDot MIL-Ring reticle. Battery operated with multiple brightness settings, each VX-Freedom riflescope is engineered for premium durability and a lifetime of use afield.

Aiding in accuracy, especially in low-light situations, FireDot illumination helps hunters achieve the best possible point of aim, especially on moving game animals. The FireDot Twilight Hunter reticle is new for 2020, and was designed with whitetail hunters in mind. All five models utilize a 30 mm main tube, and are constructed with military-spec lens coatings to provide abrasion resistance and protect the riflescope in the most inhospitable terrain.

Thanks to glare management and Leupold’s Twilight Light Management System, the VX-Freedom line delivers excellent low-light performance. As with all Leupold riflescopes, the VX-Freedom series is designed, machined and assembled in the U.S., and is backed by Leupold’s lifetime guarantee. For more information, check out leupold.com.
