Mossberg has unveiled an updated version of its 500 Turkey 410-bore pump-action shotgun. Now featuring Mossy Oak Original Bottomland camouflage, the scattergun boasts the added versatility of a choked barrel equipped with an X-Full Extended Turkey choke tube, and a drilled and tapped receiver to ease the mounting of optics. This update is intended to allow the gun to take advantage of today's modern turkey loads utilizing tungsten shot, to deliver tighter patterns in a maneuverable platform.

Toward these ends, the gun comes with a 26-inch vent-rib barrel; an interchangeable choke-tube system; a fiber-optic front sight; and Mossberg's ambidextrous, top-mounted safety. The pump's action, meanwhile, utilizes non-binding twin action bars; dual extractors; a positive steel-to-steel lock-up; an anti-jam elevator; and an anodized aluminum receiver for added durability.
