Bushnell has launched its new Bushnell Ballistics App, designed to be used with Bushnell riflescopes to calculate firing solutions for ammunition and rifle combinations. Powered by the proven Applied Ballistics Ultralite Engine, the app allows users to input atmospheric data and AB Laboratory bullet data to calculate the hold-overs needed to make a precise shot.

The Bushnell Ballistics App features the AB Connect live library of G1/G7 data, the Applied Ballistics Bullet Library of more than 740 pre-loaded bullets and a Bushnell scope library of more than 150 scopes and 30 reticle options. Users can save up to five gun management profiles with reticle-based firing solutions, and the multiple target engagement feature saves up to five targets. Atmospheric data can be entered manually or from the internet. Range cards can be printed or shared using the app’s Email Range Card function.

“The new Bushnell Ballistics App puts the power of long-range, first-shot accuracy into the hands of any shooter,” said Bushnell Marketing Manager Matt Rice. “Like all of our products, it was designed to perform in any condition and to offer our consumers true value, with features that far exceed the price—which, in this case, is free!”

While the Bushnell Ballistics App is optimized for Bushnell riflescopes and reticles, it is compatible with all optics, and doesn’t require cellular service to function. To download the free app, go to the Apple App Store for iOS devices or the Google Play Store for Android devices.
