Remington has unveiled its new V3 Tac-13—a 12-gauge., 13-inch-barreled semi-automatic shotgun that does not require National Firearms Act (NFA) paperwork to purchase.

Utilizing Remington’s revolutionary VersaPort gas system, the V3 Tac-13 reliably cycles all 2¾- and 3-inch shells while drastically reducing recoil. It features a Shockwave Raptor “bird’s head” pistol grip for a more ergonomic hold, and a user-adjustable retention strap is included on the synthetic fore-end to help control muzzle flip and improve handling. The 13-inch light contour barrel features a vented rib and front bead sight.

With an overall length of just 26.5 inches, the V3 Tac-13 weighs less than six pounds and provides a 5+1 capacity. The shotgun has a lightweight black oxide aluminum receiver and has a suggested retail price of $915.

Hardware Review: Benelli Super Black Eagle 3 A.I. BE.S.T

The Benelli Super Black Eagle 3 A.I. BE.S.T. is, put simply, on the fast track to being considered a waterfowling marvel. Standing for Advanced Impact technology, the SBE 3 A.I. shoots its shot with  improved downrange results thanks to a very, very proprietary barrel technology that actually assists in energy retention for greater downrange velocity. Sounds crazy, right? That’s what I thought too; then I took the gun to Montana’s Bighorn River and had my mind blown.
