Wilson Combat has announced the availability of its new, large format BILLet-AR rifles in .308 Win. With the move to the .308 caliber, the company hopes to appeal to hunters and long-range shooters looking for an AR-style rifle.

The new models utilize Wilson Combat's in-house BILLet-AR receiver technology to create a lightweight but accurate and reliable semi-automatic rifle suitable for a variety of tactical and outdoor roles. They also feature some of the company's other well-known features, like machined Match Grade barrels and a T.R.I.M hand guard rail.

The company maintains that the lightweight BILLet-AR receiver will allow it to build the lightest .308 frame AR on the market. The Tactical Lightweight Model is due to check in at 7.7 lbs and will sport a 14.7" barrel.

Medium, Recon profile 16" and 18" fluted or standard barrel models are also available.
