Winchester is hosting its inaugural King Buck Classic, an all-new youth sporting clays event designed for sport shooters aged 12 to 21 of all skill levels. The event will be held on Saturday, Apr. 29, at NILO Farms in Brighton, Ill.

With over $10,000 in prizes to be awarded to participants, the event promises to be a great opportunity for families to enjoy a day of outdoor activities and experience the beautiful scenery and fun targets at NILO.

In addition to the main youth event, participants and their families can enjoy other activities on the grounds, such as shooting trap or 5-stand; meeting members of Team Winchester; touring the famous NILO Kennels and home of two-time AKC National Champion King Buck; shopping for NILO and Winchester apparel and accessories at the gear store; playing corn hole or trying your hand at a set up BB-gun range; and enjoying lunch or snacks from local food trucks selling on-site.

“We are excited to host this new event and provide an awesome opportunity for youth to participate in the shooting sports,” Matt Campbell, vice president of sales and marketing for Winchester Ammunition said. “NILO has a rich history, the grounds are pristine and it really is one of the finest shooting sports facilities in the Midwest.”

The registration fee is $100 per participant and includes 100 sporting clays targets, 100 rounds of Winchester Super-Target shotgun shells and a Winchester gift.
