Timney Triggers, long known for its crisp drop-in style triggers, has now released an upgraded trigger for the Smith & Wesson Model 1854 series. While of course not a drop in, this is a trigger sure to elevate the shooting experience of the Smith & Wesson 1854 series, allowing for more easily achievable accuracy. This expands the company's relatively new Lever Action Trigger line even further, coming not too far off the heels of the Marlin Lever Action Trigger.

The Smith & Wesson 1854 trigger features a non-adjustable, factory-set pull weight of between 2.5 and 3 pounds. No matter where it lands in that range, the trigger is crisp and smooth, breaking in a consistent spot. All components are wire EDM cut to ensure tight tolerances. The trigger shoe, sear and hammer strut are cut from A2 tool steel, and hardened to guard against wear resistance. The hammer is cut from S7 tool steel, hardened for shock resistance and lasting strength.
