Yeti has released it Ranchero packs, the perfect choice for the travelling outdoorsman looking for a do-it-all day pack. The Ranchero is crafted from water-resistant Tuff-Skin nylon, with a Ground Control base that allows the pack to free-stand on its own, and pockets that can be used for everything from calls and baselayers, to gym shoes and laptops. It comes in both a 22- and 27-liter version, the former being perfect for a day-trip into the woods, while the latter is big enough to use as an overnight bag, or as a carry-on when travelling light.

All this is accessible via a RipZip opening system, which unzips in three directions to give full access to the pack's main compartment. Even better, the laptop sleeve—fitting up to 15-inch laptops—sits separate of the main compartment, underneath a dedicated zipper, so it can be removed without disturbing your other gear—especially useful in airports when having to remove your computer. On the side of the main compartment, long, elastic water-bottle sleeves allow for the secure stowage of bottles, with adjustable straps running top and bottom for extra security. Finally, shoulder straps are adjustable and sweep away from the lumbar for comfort.

The 27-liter pack is 20-inches tall, 11.5 wide and 10 deep, weighing 3.8-pounds when empty. The 22 liter is 18.5-inches tall, 11 wide and 9 deep, tipping the scales at just 3.2 pounds when empty.
