Lede Core Lokt Handgun

The "deadliest mushroom in the woods" is now available for handgun hunters everywhere. Remington Ammunition has announced the introduction of a dedicated version of Core-Lokt engineered specifically for big-game handgun hunting.

Core-Lokt Handgun provides deer, hog and black-bear hunters with Core-Lokt terminal performance. The projectile’s hollow point is engineered to give excellent expansion at handgun velocities, along with high weight retention on target. Designed for accuracy from pistol-length barrels, the cartridges provide ideal terminal results fired from semi-automatic handguns or revolvers. Core-Lokt Handgun ammunition also features nickel-plated cases for dependability.

“For well over 75 years, Core-Lokt’s been ready to get the job done on any big game hunt,” said Remington Ammunition’s director of product management Nick Sachse. “It’s time handgun hunters had a Core-Lokt offering for their season too. Big Green is proud to give hunters even more options to hunt with the Deadliest Mushroom.”

Core-Lokt Handgun will initially be available in four cartridges:

  • R20220 / 357 Magnum Core-Lokt / $42.99 MSRP
  • R20225 / 41 Remington Magnum Core-Lokt / $40.99 MSRP
  • R20228 / 44 Remington Magnum Core-Lokt / $52.99 MSRP
  • R20231 / 10mm Auto Core-Lokt / $52.99 MSRP

Attendees of SHOT Show 2024 will receive a first-hand look at the Core-Lokt Handgun line at the Remington booth #11838.
