Kimber has announced the addition of four new Pro Carbon Rifles to its Open Range Line. Designed with hunters in mind, these rifles boast ultralight AG Composites carbon-fiber stocks, wear all-weather KimPro finishes, and are available in either soft-touch GORE Optifade Open Country or textured granite. These stocks support 24" PROOF Research, carbon-fiber barrels in either 6.5 mm Creedmoor, or .308 Win., which, together with the stocks, weigh less than 6.5 lbs. with muzzle brakes.

All Kimber rifles are patterned after the storied, Mauser-style, controlled-feed actions, with three-position wing safeties and locking bolts. Barrels and chambers are machined to match-grade dimensions, which pair with factory-set, match-grade triggers to produce sub-m.o.a. performance.
