Leupold is giving a sneak preview of a new Performance Eyewear line, set to be made available sometime in early 2020. Designed, machined and assembled in the United States, this line of products promises to be made from lightweight, ballistic-rated materials, and ships with scratch-resistant polarized lenses.

At launch, five styles will be available, all designed with hunters and shooters in mind. These styles will share a number of features, such as infused polarized lenses, a Guard-ion hydrophobic coating and Diamondcoat-hardened lenses. Meanwhile, Daylight Max technology will provide UV protection in bright conditions. Each of style is also compatible with prescription lens requirements.

Even beyond this already extensive list, three of these styles will offer an ANSI Ballistic Rating, meaning they meet or exceed ANSI high-velocity impact standards for eye protection.

“We designed this eyewear for every possibility,” said Zach Bird, product line manager for Leupold & Stevens, Inc. “Whether you’re on the range each weekend, hiking a ridge looking for a trophy bull, or just driving to work every day, our Performance Eyewear line has something for you."
