Garmin has announced the DriveTrack 72, a multifunctional GPS navigator that tracks up to 20 sporting dogs in the field. From inside their vehicle, hunters can follow their pack using the 7-inch, high-resolution display and view each dog’s distance, direction and status. They can also get to and from the hunt with detailed mapping for on- and off-road navigation, including satellite imagery for an overhead view to help traverse unfamiliar terrain.

Track, Monitor, Hunt

  • Crisp display: See everything in vivid color with the bright, 7-inch touchscreen display that provides easy readability when driving or hunting.
  • Follow the pack: Monitor hunting dogs in real time when the device is paired to a compatible Garmin dog tracking handheld. Keep tabs on how and where they’re moving through the field, all from inside the vehicle.
  • Satellite imagery: Download satellite imagery via Wi-Fi technology and see the terrain features from above to help navigate or find suitable habitat for game.
  • Mapping the journey: Get to and from favorite hunting spots with turn-by-turn directions on city streets and county roads, while advanced mapping can guide off-the-grid travel.
  • Stay informed: Utilize the Garmin Drive™ app and a compatible smartphone to access current weather conditions, smart notifications and traffic information.
