Looking to up your upland-vest game? Check out the new Over/Under customizable, front-loading vest from Chief Upland. Designed for those tired of having to compromise on their vest layout, the Over/Under vest is fully modifiable to your exact requirements. With an expandable game-bird pouch covered in Molle panels, you can choose exactly where to position your shell caddy, water-bottle holder, stock rest, or any of the other attachments the company has to offer. The vest also includes a sizeable rear compartment, for inclusion of a hydration bladder on those long, dry drives.

Despite this custom nature, the vest is far from fragile. 1000D Cordura, Hypalon and leather accents combine with rip-stop lining to make it water- and briar-proof, while retaining a light, 2.56-lb. weight. It is available colored in either Earth tone, or Blaze Orange for safety.

American Hunter staff currently have a model undergoing rigorous field testing. Stay tuned for a writeup on exactly how well it performs, or, if you're already sold on the features alone, check it out at chiefupland.comMSRP: $159
