LEDE ULP Jacket And Vest

Badlands has debuted two new pieces of gear for the discerning backcountry hunter, with the Ultralight Packable (ULP) Jacket and Ultralight Packable (ULP) Vest. Designed as light outerwear or as low-profile insulation under a hard shell or soft shell, both the ULP Jacket and ULP Vest feature 40 grams of synthetic PrimaLoft Gold Cross-Core Insulation for an impressive warmth-to-weight ratio. Easily compressible, both the jacket and the vest and can be packed into their own pockets. This is exceptionally useful when packing them into your pack for extended backcountry trips, where variable weather is a factor. Throw on the ULP Jacket or ULP Vest at a glassing spot or to beat the morning chill, then stuff it right back into its pocket and toss it into the backpack until its its needed again.

ULP Gear Packed

Available in two solid colors, Onyx (black) and Stone (gray), the ULP Jacket and Vest are versatile pieces for backcountry hunts, trips to the range or everyday wear. Both articles are odor resistant, for more peace of mind when caught downwind, whether on the hunt or on the town the day you pack out.

ULP Pocket

Behind the Bullet: The .308 Norma Magnum

The .308 Norma Magnum closely resembles the wildcat .30-338 cartridge, though the shoulder of the former is located a bit more toward the base than that of the .308 Norma Magnum. Intrigued?
