Beretta has announced the launch of a brand-new semi-automatic shotgun, the A300 Ultima Sporting. This new shotgun is engineered to be reliable and evenly balanced for clay target shooting. Featuring the gas operating system of the A300 platform, this new sporting gun features a 30-inch (12 gauge) or 28-inch (20 gauge) barrel with a white front bead and a mid-bead on a 7mm stepped rib. An enlarged loading port, extended bolt release and bolt handle make operating the gun easy and intuitive.

Green accents and a new black web pattern set the A300 Sporting apart. Consumers can customize their new shotgun with other preferred colors, thanks to optional accessory kits available in gold, red, green, blue, and black. The accessory kit includes a pistol grip cap, magazine cap, bolt release, and stock shim (all in one colorway). Beretta’s Kick-Off recoil reduction system, meanwhile, provides enhanced stability, comfort, and control for faster follow-up shots.

Alligator Hunting Opportunities Are Expanding

This year, both Florida and Louisiana are expanding or introducing new opportunities for alligator hunts. For decades, Florida has estimated that there are over one million in the state—it is, of course, hard to count alligators. Louisiana now says its alligator population exceeds three million. The two states have managed their alligator populations very differently over the last half century, but now both are expanding hunting opportunities to help manage alligator populations.
