2023 Benelli M2 Field Lead

Updates the venerable Benelli M2 Field semi-auto to make it "workhorse rugged with thoroughbred speed,” and it all comes at a slightly lower price.

Guns in 12- and 20-gauge get an updated stock and an updated and sleeker fore-end and receiver. The buttstock offers an extended AirTouch surface behind the pistol grip to enhance purchase. Benelli’s Micro Cell recoil pad is a one-piece unit that works with a corrosion-resistant recoil tube and stainless spring. Optional Micro Cell recoil pads are also available in varying widths to provide customized length-of-pull adjustments.

A revised bolt design provides smooth, quiet operation with enhanced strength and efficiency for flawless cycling with any loads courtesy of Benelli's Inertia Driven System. The gun’s conventional round-style bolt release button also is updated with a longer bar shape that is easier find and is quicker to manipulate when wearing gloves. And of course the M2 Field benefits from Benelli's standard Crio barrels and choke tubes.

Several models are available with 24-, 26- and 28-inch barrels and 2¾- and 3-inch chambers. Finishes include black synthetic, Mossy Oak Bottomland, Gore Optifade Waterfowl Timber, and Realtree Max-7 across the standard and Compact models.

The redesign provided manufacturing efficiencies that reduced production costs, which reduced the retail price. For 2023, MSRP of the M2 Field is $1,399 for black synthetic models and $1,499 for camo versions; turkey guns similarly priced.
