Given the tens of thousands of dedicated NRA members, a bevy of outdoor-industry celebrities and even a handful of 2016 presidential hopefuls in attendance at the 144th NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits, it'd be little surprise if you barely realized that the staff of American Hunter was in Nashville. But we were indeed combing the "Nine Acres of Guns" that took over the Music City from April 10-12—in force, at that. We can't say we caught up with each of the 550 exhibitors on hand, nor that we found every nook and cranny in the 450,000 square foot convention center.
