Hawk Optics has recently added a new spotting scope to its lineup. Called the Nature Trek, this 9X-27X-56mm spotter is designed for packing in on long, backcountry hunts where weight can be a factor. Weighing in at a mere 20.3 ounces and just 7.6-inches long, the Nature Trek utilizes fully multi-coated lenses with a BAK-4 Porro Prism to give better contrast and color transmission. The field of view is 234-108 feet at 1000 yards, with a dual-focus knob to fine-tune the image. For closer scenarios, the scope also has a close-focus for detail as near as 8.2-feet away. Further, it is digi-scope compatible, meaning it can be used as a zoom lens for your camera.

On the durability front, the Nature Trek is nitrogen purged, for water- and fog-proofing.There is also a stay-on lens cover, slide-out sun shade and a twist-up eye cup. For more information on this lightweight optic, which comes with a No-Fault Lifetime Warranty, please visit hawkeoptics.comMSRP: $219
