Thompson/Center has rolled out several of its rifle models in a new caliber: 6.5 Creedmoor. The chambering can now be found in T/C’s Compass, Venture, Dimension and Encore Pro Hunter models.

The T/C Compass, chambered in 11 different cartridges including the 6.5 Creedmoor, features an adjustable trigger and a threaded match-grade barrel with 5R rifling to compliment the 6.5, which is guaranteed to shoot MOA. The rifle will have an MSRP of $399.

The T/C Venture Weather Shield, a weather resistant bolt-action rifle, comes with an MOA guarantee from it’s 22-inch, 1:8 twist 5R rifled barrel and its own adjustable trigger. This model will have a base MSRP of $578.

"The flat-shooting caliber has found a home," T/C Brand Manager, Danielle Sanville said. "The master gunsmiths at Thompson/Center have added the popular caliber to four of our award-winning product lines, ensuring that T/C and Creedmoor fans are ready for a once in-a-lifetime shot.”

The other two 6.5 options that Sanville referenced are the two accessory barrels available for two different Thompson/Center rifle platforms, the Dimension and the Encore. The T/C Dimension has a blued accessory barrel that is 22 in length and has a 1:8 twist as well. The barrel comes with a magazine kit, making Thompson/Center’s Dimension platform that much more flexible and adaptable. The T/C Encore Pro Hunter has its own stainless, fluted 1:8 28 barrel accessory giving more caliber options to Encore Pro Hunter owners.
