undefinedZeiss Sports Optics' booth at the SCI Hunters' Convention is always abuzz with activity. And why not? The hunters here know quality gear when they see it, and regularly search out top-notch performance for their adventures. The buzz at the Zeiss booth surrounds the company's new Victory SF binocular. Available in 8- and 10x42mm configurations, the binoculars offer improved ergonomics, Smart Focus, which protects the center-focus wheel behind two bridges, 92 percent light transmission, an open, three-bridge design and magnesium skeleton that lightens the entire package. MSRP for the 10X unit is $2,994, $2,888 for the 8X.Also new is the Terra XB75, a 3X crossbow scope. Its design includes a low-profile, 1-inch tube, 1/4 MOA adjustments and a patented reticle with yardage markers for accurate shots from 20-75 yards at 2.5-yard increments. Oh, it also includes a lifetime warranty that follows the scope regardless of owner, and a price of only $399. With crossbows now legal for hunting in upwards of three dozen states nationwide, this is one product that surely will make waves in seasons to come.
