Zeiss Displays New Optics at SCI Hunters' Convention

The hunters here know quality gear when they see it, and regularly search out top-notch performance for their adventures.The buzz at the Zeiss booth surrounds the company's new Victory SF binocular. Available in 8- and 10x42mm configurations, the binoculars offer improved ergonomics, Smart Focus, which protects the center-focus wheel behind two bridges, 92 percent light transmission, an open, three-bridge design and magnesium skeleton that lightens the entire package. MSRP for the 10X unit is $2,994, $2,888 for the 8X.Also new is the Terra XB75, a 3X crossbow scope. Its design includes a low-profile, 1-inch tube, 1/4 MOA adjustments and a patented reticle with yardage markers for accurate shots from 20-75 yards at 2.5-yard increments. Oh, it also includes a lifetime warranty that follows the scope regardless of owner, and a price of only $399. With crossbows now legal for hunting in upwards of three dozen states nationwide, this is one product that surely will make waves in seasons to come.
