undefinedCreative stock patterns were something of a theme among the firearm companies on hand at the 143rd NRA Annual Meetings, and TriStar Arms was no different. The company is hoping to catch the eye of the next generation of hunters with a pair of sharp new patterns for its 20-gauge Raptor Youth shotgun.

For 2014, TriStar is adding a Raptor Youth model dipped in Muddy Girl camouflage and a version featuring the Vista Next Micro Print pattern. Both new models are gas operated, with a 24-inch barrel, and come with a fiber optic front site, swivel studs, and three choke tubes.

“For many, the first memories of hunting and shooting are from when they were young, and often times these memories are some of the best,” said Ryan Bader, sales and marketing manager at TriStar Arms. “The new Raptor Youth models are quality and affordable firearms that are perfect for young shooters and will hopefully provide them with lasting memories.”

Features:

• Manual E-Z load magazine cut-off
• Vented rib with matted sight plane
• Fiber optic site
• 5 round magazine (shot plug included)
• Chrome-lined chamber and barrel
• Swivel studs
• Average weight: 6.1 lbs
• Stock Dimensions: 1 ½”x 2 ½”x 13”

The Muddy Girl pattern will ship with an MSRP of $459, while the Vista Next Micro Print model will be available for $489.
