Benelli Lupo Charred BEST

For 2025 Benelli expands its wildly popular, high-performance Lupo bolt-action rifle lineup with the Lupo Charred Timber. Besides awesome good looks the new rifle offers not just a pleasing color combination but enhanced function in a sub-MOA hunting rifle.

Metalwork on the Lupo Charred Timber is coated in a pleasing Labrador Grey Benelli Surface Treatment (BE.S.T.), a proprietary DLC coating that is impenetrable to protect surfaces better than anything else on the firearm market. Best of all, BE.S.T. can be applied to Benelli Crio-treated barrels, too, which means the Lupo Charred Timber is not only protected from the elements but remains accurate. A BE.S.T. coating comes with a 25-year warranty against rust and corrosion.

The buttstock and fore-end, as the name implies, display the subtle, multi-color web design the company calls Charred Timber. Against the Labrador Grey metalwork the color combo is incredibly attractive, and blends many hunting habitats.

The Lupo Charred Timber receiver is fitted with a one-piece Picatinny rail so a hunter may find an optic of his choice and rings to mount it. A multi-port muzzle brake tames recoil. The presence of that brake means, yes, the barrel is threaded (5/8x24) so you may attach the suppressor of your choice. Five different chamberings all come standard with Benelli’s proven-tough three-lug, one-piece bolt with a short 60-degree throw, an adjustable trigger, Benelli’s Progressive Comfort recoil management system, length-of-pull adjustability, a detachable double-stack box magazine and integrated swivel mounts fore and aft.

The Benelli Lupo Charred comes in 6.5 Creedmoor with a 24-inch barrel; .308 Win. with a 22-inch barrel; .30-06 with a 22-inch barrel; .300 Win. Mag. with a 24-inch barrel; and 7 PRC with a 24-inch barrel. MSRP is $2299.

Benelli, headquartered in Accokeek, Md., offers the largest selection of semi-automatic shotguns in the world and a variety of rifles. Its innovative firearm technology includes the world-famous Benelli Inertia Driven system, Comfort Tech recoil-reduction systems, and BE.S.T. anti-corrosion coatings.
