Rock River Arms has introduced its first .17 HMR-chambered AR-platform rifle. With standard AR-furniture and ergonomics, the Rock River Arms .17 HMR is not only immediately familiar to fans of the platform, it is customizable with all the usual AR-style upgrades and parts. While building a functional AR that cycles .17 HMR has been an issue for many manufacturers, Rock River tackled it by using a gas-impingement, delayed-blowback system designed to reliably cycle even light 15.5- and 20-grain projectiles.

Each rifle comes with the company's two-stage NM Ultra Match trigger, while furniture is from Magpul. A free-float handguard boasts M-Lok accessory-attachment points, while the gun feeds from a 10-round magazine. For more information, check out rockriverarms.com or watch our video embedded above
