LEDE Premier Accutip MZ

Remington Ammunition has announced a bullet exclusively engineered for muzzleloaders: the Premier AccuTip MZ. Designed for muzzleloading hunting with both modern or traditional .50- caliber rifles, Premier AccuTip MZ’s muzzleloading bullets/sabots provide exceptional accuracy and dramatic performance on big game.

Premier AccuTip MZ’s bonded bullet is guided by the Power Port Tip, the same industry-leading technology used in Remington’s popular Premier AccuTip rifled shotgun slugs. On impact, the tip enables quick expansion for deadly energy transfer while the 260-grain bonded bullet provides optimal penetration and 97+ percent weight retention.

Tested and accurate with all leading muzzleloading propellants, Premier AccuTip MZ’s bonded bullets pair with an easy-loading sabot for quick reloads, making this product Remington’s deadliest muzzleloader bullet yet.

"Remington is thrilled to present hunters with the Premier AccuTip MZ, a bullet that they can rely on for consistent performance on deer, elk and more," said Remington’s muzzleloader product line manager Ronnie Evans. "We are proud to offer hunters a bullet that combines deadly accuracy, high weight retention, and exceptional performance at all common muzzleloading ranges."

Available in 12 bullet packs, Premier AccuTip MZ’s bullets/sabots come in convenient quick loading tubes for access in the field or at the range. For more information on these cutting-edge projectiles from Big Green, visit remington.comMSRP: $22.99

Member's Hunt: Patience is Tough When You Shoot a Big Buck

My phone still in my hands, I texted my teenage son, who was hunting along the field not far away. Behind the Bullet: The .308 Norma Magnum

Norma’s ballistician Nils Kvale saw the wisdom of having the velocity and horsepower of the .300 H&H Magnum, but in a shorter, more affordable receiver, and used the H&H case to develop his .358 Norma Magnum in 1959 as well as the .308 Norma Magnum one year later. The .308 Norma Magnum closely resembles the wildcat .30-338 cartridge, though the shoulder of the former is located a bit more toward the base than that of the .308 Norma Magnum. Intrigued?
