American Hunter Executive Editor Jon Draper puts the new Franchi Affinity turkey guns through their paces, during a field-day event at Prospect Hall Hunting Club in West Virginia. The company's first ever turkey-specific shotgun, the firearm is finished in Mossy Oak Bottomland, and comes—as the Affinity 3.5 Turkey—with a 3.5-inch chamber in 12 gauge, or—as the Affinity 3 Turkey—with a 3-inch chamber in 20-gauge. An adjustable sight sits at the rear of the gun, and a fiber-optic tube resides toward the front. The gun also comes with both Turkey, and Extra-Full Turkey chokes.

An upgraded version, the Affinity 3 Elite Turkey is also available. It adds extra-large, textured bolt controls; a Picatinny rail; and a full-fiber optic rear sight, with a dual-color fiber-optic front. Midnight-bronze Cerakote adorns and protects the receiver, while Franchi precision-tone Optifade Subalpine patterning provides added concealment, among a host of other upgrades. It also comes with two Rhino chokes for longer- or closer-range shooting, and a 3-inch chamber in both 12- and 20-gauge.
