Fortunately for the American public, HumaneWatch.org is like a dog with a bone—make that a watchdog with a bone—when it comes to its relentless exposure of the anti-hunting, anti-NRA Humane Society of the United States’ (HSUS). The latest in a barrage of attack ads exposing the fraudulent way in which HSUS raises and spends donor dollars, the ad is set to air on Fox News’ “The O’Reilly Factor” and “The Kelly File” this week in the following markets:

Apr. 11-14: Washington, D.C.
Apr. 12-15: Orlando, Austin, Raleigh, Columbus, Sacramento and Palm Beach, Fla.

These ad buys are a follow up to HumaneWatch.org’s week-long “Fox News” ad buys on those same programs in the Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., and New York City markets. This is a good move considering Bill O’Reilly and Megyn Kelly host two of today’s highest-rated news programs. While “Fox News” skews conservative in its viewership, its ratings are so high that they still have more actual liberal viewers than CNN and MSNBC. HumaneWatch.org’s research shows that HSUS donors are on both sides of the political aisle.

Unfortunately, many viewers may be in for a rude awakening as they realize that all the animal shelters across America that HSUS claims to help—and the pets it claims to save—account for only 1 percent of its expenses. Of course, that is because it appears to be too busy stashing tens of millions of dollars in offshore accounts and paying millions in salaries and pension plans.
