Outdoor Edge Razorlite Knife

Recreational Archery Development, maker of the Bow Spider bow-retrieval system, is offering a Limited Edition Outdoor Edge RazorLite EDC 3.5 Knife. With blades that change quickly, safely and easily at the push of a button, the Limited Edition knife comes with the Bow Spider name and logo engraved on the black-oxide-coated blade holder.

The blade holder on the knife provides strength and security, supporting the razor-sharp blades to make it as strong as a standard knife with the sharpness of a scalpel. The 3.5 inch Japanese 420J2 stainless razor-blades are heat-treated and hand-finished to be shaving sharp. With rubberized TPR inserts, the 3.5 RazorLite EDC’s double-molded Grivory handle provides a non-slip grip, even when wet. A double-sided thumb stud provides for one-hand opening, and the replaceable stainless steel pocket clip contours with the handle, making it an integral part of the grip.

Rear of knife

The Bow Spider Limited Edition Outdoor Edge RazorLite EDC 3.5 is the perfect daily-carry knife. It comes with five replacement blades and is available in blaze orange at bowspider.com. MSRP: $39.95

Behind the Bullet: The .308 Norma Magnum

Norma’s ballistician Nils Kvale saw the wisdom of having the velocity and horsepower of the .300 H&H Magnum, but in a shorter, more affordable receiver, and used the H&H case to develop his .358 Norma Magnum in 1959 as well as the .308 Norma Magnum one year later. The .308 Norma Magnum closely resembles the wildcat .30-338 cartridge, though the shoulder of the former is located a bit more toward the base than that of the .308 Norma Magnum. Intrigued?
