The 144th NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits at the Music City Center in Nashville, Apr. 10-12, promise to be more engaging than ever, starting with the 2nd Annual NRA Hunters’ Leadership Forum National Luncheon on Friday, Apr. 10, at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Who better than NRA President Jim Porter and NASCAR’s Richard Childress, Chairman of the NRA Hunting and Wildlife Conservation Committee, to be headlining the event? Highlights include a special presentation of the inaugural NRA Distinguished Hunters Leadership Award to Mary and the late Dick Cabela and Jim Cabela. For tickets, contact Laura Evans, 703-267-1126; [email protected].

Of course, what outdoor enthusiast wouldn’t want to attend the National NRA Foundation Banquet at the Music City Center on Thursday, April 9? No wonder doors open at 5 p.m. considering one of many great auction items includes an exclusive Wyoming Commissioner’s Tag good for elk, deer or antelope. The tag is good for the 2015 season in any area of the state except elk area 75, 77 and 79 (elk refuge). For more information or to submit a bid on this tag in advance, contact Nicole McMahon at [email protected].

As the fastest-growing community within the NRA, women won’t want to miss the 9th Annual NRA Women’s Leadership Forum Luncheon and Auction at the Omni Hotel on Apr. 10 (10 to 11:30 a.m.: Reception & Silent Auction; 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.: Luncheon. Not only will attendees enjoy being part of this vibrant and influential community of women, but the entertainment is Rascal Flatts! To purchase tickets contact Addie Crimmins, 703-267-1580; [email protected].

There is a lot to do and see between all the activities, starting with the NRA Annual Meeting of Members beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 11. As for other events, while the annual NRA-ILA Leadership Forum on April 10 just sold out, tickets are still available for the NRA-ILA Dinner and Auction, NRA Country Jam V, NRA Presents Alan Jackson with special guest Jeff Foxworthy, and the 2015 Prayer Breakfast.  For event tickets, visit www.nraam.org.
