If there’s one thing many successful deer hunters have in common, it’s the ability to adapt. There’s no universal formula for success, even on a single property. Deer change their patterns, woods change over time, and hunters who want to harvest big bucks learn to move around and be flexible. The Millennium T100 Tripod Stand gives hunters a lightweight and extremely mobile shooting platform to achieve these ends.

Unlike any other hunting tripod to date, the T100 features Millennium’s exclusive GoLite Design. It weighs in at only 36 pounds, and is ultra-compact for easy portability and deployment. The T100 stands at a hunting height of 10 feet to the hunter’s eye level, perfect for areas with low ground cover. Should a hunter need a little extra height, a four-foot extension is available, in the form of the T103.

Like all Millennium Stands, the T100 sports a folding ComfortMax contoured tight-sling seat so that hunters can stay still and quiet for extended periods. The seat features a footrest that swivels 360-degrees, along with the seat. The tripod legs incorporate a foot stand to allow the hunter to smoothly and easily swivel the seat and stop it in any position for the perfect shot. The T100 features large, easy-to-climb, sure-footed steps and an adjustable leg to level the tripod on uneven ground.

To help ensure a steady shot, Millennium offers its T102 Shooting Stick Mount, which mounts to the T100’s footrest and is designed to work with most shooting sticks.

Tips & Tricks Learned in An Ongoing Study of Elk

The only thing I can confidently say about elk hunting is that education is ongoing. After decades of autumns spent in elk country, I have learned a few hard and fast guidelines to heighten my odds of success, even without standing over an elk at the end of the hunt. Elk hunting is changing from season to season. Every lesson you learn from a previous season of hunting has merit in overcoming the low odds already stacked against you.
